We use 100% High-Gluten Flour, water, salt, malt and fresh yeast.Our Bagels are boiled then baked on burlap boards and the "flipped" to allow for an even bake. They are great toasted!

Bagels: The Bagel, like the Bialy, had its origins in Poland or possibly Austria. These round breads with a hole in the middle have become a universal treat. However, it is only with New York Water that a Bagel can really taste like a Bagel. Our Bagels are made with 100% high-gluten flour, fresh yeast, a little salt, a little malt and award winning New York  Water. The Bagels are shaped by hand, then boiled in kettles to develop the crusty soft, chewy dough that old fashioned Bagels are famous for...the Bagels are then put on wooden boards and placed into our ovens. After several minutes, the Bagels are “flipped” to allow for even baking on both sides. This complete process gives the Bagel its unique shiny, golden color.
